Abbey Singers 50th Anniversary
The Abbey Singers & Carlisle Cantate
conducted by Jeremy Suter with Ed Taylor (organ), and David Sutton (piano)

To celebrate its 50th birthday Abbey Singers have invited the Cumbrian-based composer Adrian Self (pictured, right) to set Robert Southey's poem The Cataract of Lodore for mixed choir, children's choir, piano and percussion. The programme will also feature Hiawatha's Wedding Feast by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor who died in 1912.

Samuel Taylor-Coleridge - Hiawatha's Wedding Feast

Tickets cost: Full price - £1
8. Concessions - £16 - but this will only apply to those on income support etc. or students. The young person price, that is those below age 18, will be £10. Restricted view prices will be £12, standard, £10 concessions and £8 young person. There will be a 10% discount for members and patrons of Carlisle Festival Ltd. Seats are not numbered.
